MARCELLA BOTTERO Early Morning Yogic Movement Exploration Sun, Sept 18, 8:00-9:15am
|
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
As we prepare for a day of experiencing different teachers and different modalities in the Somatic
bodies to their full fluid potential.
Using breath, sound and subtle movement we will open up the tissues in our bodies and connect with our
fluid nature honoring its tides, waves and spiralic motions. From this place of openness and receptivity
we will move into the exploration of different asanas and strengthening postures. Allowing the
creative process to inform us and following the impulses of our inhabited body we can find newness as
we enter each posture. Moving from one asana to the next we discover and honor our own rhythm of
breath, allowing the transitions and spaces in between to be part of the exploration.
Following the Yogaasana principles of alertness without tension and relaxation without dullness
combined with the Continuum understanding of fluid nature and wave motion, we will restore and
nourish body and soul.
