self and others allow for change and unfold ways to address our habitual patterns of moving.
The body is the point of departure. The somatic, that celebration of, and continual connection between
the body and the mind, is ever present.
The landscapes of the body; those never ending delicate discoveries of skin, bones, tissue, cells,
organs, fluids, the breath. The desire to move and be moved. We find, in Releasing, that we no longer
dance the dance, but rather, it dances us.
Drawing on principles of Skinner Releasing Technique, integrated somatic bodywork practises and
movement improvisation, we will encounter deepening understanding of our own body in motion. We will
work alone and with others, with movement, hands on work, writing and drawing.
This workshop is open to all.
